I've had the pleasure of working as your school Counselor at Kemp Primary since 2004. Prior to that time I worked at Kemp Elementary, Morrow Middle, and Babb Middle as a Counselor. I truly believe that all students can learn. Hands-on opportunities seem to be one of the best ways to learn. I wholeheartedly believe that our students, parents, and staff are unique and there is nothing that we can't accomplish together. I work hard to foster a positive learning environment for all students. I would like to extend the opportunity for parents to sign up for the free Helping Hands Ending Hunger Food Bank I run here at the school. Building connections between our students, families and business community is key. Together we will work towards ensuring your children have the tools to be career ready and focused for tomorrow.

Greetings Panda Family!
I am excited to join Kemp Primary School this school year. I have over 15 years in education as a middle school teacher and school counselor. I obtained my BS in Computer Information Systems from Norfolk State University and my MS in School Counseling from Capella University. I enjoy working with the youth and connecting with families and stakeholders. I believe that learning should be a lifetime commitment. As your school counselor I am constantly attending professional development workshops and conferences to learn how to best meet the needs of the population I serve.
